Cape Coral, FL (March 4, 2008) – President and CEO of Riverside Bank of the Gulf Coast, John D. Moran, reports that Tom Guess has joined the company as Vice President/Commercial Lender. 

Guess has over 25 years of banking experience and most recently served as Vice President/Retail Market Manager for Southwest Capital Bank. His expertise includes lending, management, regional management and underwriting. Guess attended the University of South Florida and earned his associate’s degree in banking and finance from Edison College. A resident of Southwest Florida since 1971, he has served as a Board Member for the Cape Coral Housing Development Corp. for 11 years, serving six years as President; been an Advisory Board Member of the Consumer Credit Counseling of the Gulf Coast for 7 years; served as a United Way Allocations Team Member for three years; and been a member of the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce for four years. He is also a 2004 Graduate of the Leadership Class of the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce; a member of the Cape Chamber’s Steering Committee and Education Committee.

Guess will be located at the company’s Santa Barbara branch in Cape Coral.
